Life is extremely busy these days, and all of us have found one way or another to do maximum tasks in minimum time. For that matter, we have completely ignored our health, forgetting how to be a healthy person and are consistently failing to maintain a lifestyle that can keep us fit and helps us in improving our productivity. Here are ten tips on how to eat, move and be healthy.
  1. Eat healthy: You are what you eat! If you need to know how to start being healthy, start off with your diet. When we say start eating healthy, we do not mean you starve yourself. Change your diet from fattening foods healthy foods like seafood. Avoid processed foods at all cost: it is nothing but starch and fats packed for you in an airtight packaging. Juices, soft drinks, wafers, chips, candies, biscuits, noodles, all are out of the question if you are interested in knowing how to be perfectly healthy. However, eating healthy food but in excessive quantities is also not good. Try to consume small portions of food at all times so that your stomach isn’t blotted. Fix your eating schedule and try hard not to deviate from it.
  1. Seafood: We would highly recommend that you start consuming fish and seafood in as much quantity as possible, not only because it is delicious, also because it has massive amounts of nutrients. Fish and all other kinds of seafood are enriched with multiple vitamins, proteins and most importantly omega-3. Omega-3 is essential for the proper functioning of the body because of the fact that it produces necessary fatty acids for the body. Omega-3 helps run your heart much more efficiently than otherwise and maintain your cholesterol as well. Salmon and other lean fish are very cost effective and extremely beneficial for your health. Not only this but the zinc and manganese in seafood help the digestion process, boosts your metabolism and assured healthy digestion of food.  
  2. Water: If you want to know how to be healthier than you were ever before, focus on how much water you drink. Water makes up 3 quarters of your body. The key on how to be a healthy person lies in remaining immensely hydrated at all times. It assures a continuous supply of blood oxygen to all the organs. Drinking water keeps you full most of the time. Therefore, you also eat less, which automatically helps you maintain your weight.  
  3. Sunlight: Absorbing a bit of sunlight every day is essential. It is not only good for your health nutrition wise; it is also highly beneficial for your looks. Vitamin D from the sunlight greatly helps your blood stream to flow smoothly. The effective blood flows brighten and smooth your skin and strengthen hair. In addition to these health advantages, it also helps the cell in developing immunity against diseases like cancer. Therefore, it is the most cost-effective source of cure against serious diseases.
  4. Winter blues: Now that you know how important sunlight is, you must be wondering what to do about it in winters, when there is very little of sun light. The absence of sunlight causes severe mood demotion and vitamin deficiency, therefore, it is even more important for us to get as much sunlight as possible, no matter for how much time the sun comes out.
  5. Sleep: We have so much work to do in today’s time, and there always seems to be so little time that the first thing we take away a chunk of time from is our sleep. Depriving our body and mind off of sleep is seriously hazardous. It slows down the brain activity and reduces our ability to maintain focus on our daily tasks. Therefore, make sure you are never sleep deprived.
  6. Walk: In order to figure out how to eat, move and be healthy, start off the moving part with an exercise as simple as 30 minutes of daily brisk walk, which can greatly improve your health and body mechanisms.
  7. Resistance exercises: If you want to continue the quest of how to be perfectly healthy, then try out some exercises that help your entire body rather than just some particular parts. Develop your stamina and boost your energy levels by exercising daily as much as you can.
