Global Seafoods Marketplace Terms and Conditions for Wholesale

Product Information Requirements:

  • Description: Sellers must provide a detailed description of each product, including the size and weight of each package.
  • Pricing: List price per metric ton, Ex Cold Storage.
  • Minimum Volume: Specify the minimum volume of product available for purchase.
  • Location: Indicate the location of cold storage.
  • Product Photos: Provide a high-resolution photo of the product (800x800 pixels).

Seller Obligations:

  • Documentation: Sellers are responsible for providing all necessary documents to ensure the delivery of the product to the buyer.
  • Fees and Commissions: Sellers are responsible for any bank fees associated with the transaction and a 3% commission to Global Seafoods North America.

Payment Terms:

  • Global Seafoods collects payment from the buyer and releases it once the buyer confirms receipt and satisfaction with the product.

Buyer Confirmation:

  • Inspection Period: The buyer has 5 business days after taking control of the product to confirm in writing that the product is received in good order and that the quality meets the description. Failure to provide such notice within five business days will result in Global Seafoods releasing the product to the seller, and no future claims will be accepted.

Dispute Resolution:

  • In cases of product quality issues or discrepancies in quantity, both parties agree that Global Seafoods North America will hire an independent inspector. Both the buyer and seller must agree to the independent inspection report.
    • Cost of Inspection: If the inspector confirms the product meets the description, the buyer will cover the inspection cost. If a discrepancy is found, the buyer and seller may agree on a price adjustment, or the buyer will receive a full refund from the escrow account. The seller will bear the inspection cost and all related fees to settle the claim.

Overseas Shipment Terms:

  • Document Approval: The seller must send drafts of all shipping documents to the buyer for approval. No products will be shipped without buyer's approval.
  • Cost of Changes: Any changes or additional costs, including demurrage or costs for replacing documents, shall be covered by the buyer.

These terms are designed to ensure a transparent, secure, and efficient transaction process between buyers and sellers on Global Seafoods Marketplace.
