How to Reheat Lobster Claws:

To serve lobster cocktail claws with butter and lemon, you will need to reheat them correctly to the best texture.

To reheat lobster claws:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place your lobster claws on a sheet of aluminum foil and sprinkle with several drops of water.
  3. Wrap your cocktail claws in the aluminum foil.
  4. Place the wrapped lobster claws on a baking sheet and place the baking sheet in your preheated oven.
  5. Warm your lobster claws in the oven for 5-10 minutes until warmed through.
  6. Serve immediately with melted butter, lemon, and your favorite herbs.

Add a few drops of your favorite hot sauce to your dipping butter for a spicy kick to your lobster dinner.

To reheat lobster claws in the microwave:

While not ideal, if you're in a hurry, it is possible to reheat your lobster claws in the microwave. Wrap your lobster claws in a damp paper towel and heat in the microwave on short 30 second bursts until just warmed through. Be sure not to overcook your lobster in the microwave as the claws can become rubbery. The shells protect and steam the lobster in the microwave and help keep your lobster claws' texture from becoming unpleasant.

Are Lobster Claws Healthy?

Lobster is lean seafood that is full of protein.

Lobster meals tend to become heavy and decadent from the butter, creams, and sauces people use to serve with lobster. Cold lobster served over a cobb salad is a delicious and healthy way to add protein and minerals to your diet.

A 3.5 oz serving of lobster claws has just 89 calories and 19 grams of lean protein, and less than one gram of fat. Lobster is high in phosphorus, which helps support your kidney function. Lobster is also rich in selenium and magnesium. In addition to being high in minerals and low in fat, lobster is also a low mercury seafood. We should all be eating more lobster!
