What Is Included
- 8 individually packed portions of frozen ahi tuna
- 8 separate wasabi sauce packets
Each order contains 16 packages in total: 8 fish packages and 8 sauce packets. One fish package with one sauce packet serves approximately 2–3 people; the full set serves approximately 16–24 people when paired with rice, vegetables or other accompaniments. Serving estimates vary with appetite and portion size. Rice, vegetables and garnishes are purchased separately.
Wasabi Tuna and Serving Ideas
Pre-cut, wild-caught ahi tuna comes with a separately packed wasabi sauce. Thaw according to the package instructions, combine as directed and add your favorite accompaniments. Serve over rice or greens, in hand rolls, or with wonton or taro chips for an appetizer. Rice, chips and vegetables are separate purchases.
Seasoning and Package Contents
Review the package for net seafood weight, marinade contents and the full ingredient and allergen statement. Plan portions using the net seafood weight of the package you order. Rice, vegetables and garnishes are purchased separately unless explicitly included.
Follow the package directions for combining tuna and seasoning. Start with the supplied seasoning and add extra soy sauce or wasabi only to taste.
Receiving and Preparing Your Order
Supplied frozen and shipped with dry ice. Available shipping services are shown at checkout. Follow the package’s thawing, refrigeration and use-by instructions, including any directions for opening the packaging before thawing.
For a raw preparation, confirm the specific product’s intended use and handling instructions. Freezing does not eliminate every foodborne risk. For a cooked bowl, cook the fish thoroughly before assembling with clean utensils.
