Fresh New Zealand snapper is prized for its clean, mildly sweet flavor, firm texture, and moist flakes. This whole-fish format is suited to roasting, grilling, steaming, baking, or professional fabrication into portions.
This product is sourced from New Zealand and is marketed as New Zealand snapper, Tai snapper, Tamure, pink snapper, or New Zealand red/gold snapper. It should not be confused with Gulf of Mexico American red snapper. Contact Global Seafoods if you need confirmation of the current supplier specification or preparation before ordering.
The flesh is firm enough for grilling and whole-fish roasting but remains moist and flaky when properly cooked. Pair it with lemon, garlic, herbs, olive oil, butter, ginger, scallions, or light sauces.
Open and inspect the shipment promptly. Keep refrigerated and cook within 1–2 days for best quality. If you cannot use the fish promptly, wrap or vacuum-seal it and freeze immediately. Clean and sanitize all surfaces and tools after handling raw seafood.
Each order contains approximately 6 lb total and typically four whole fish. Natural size variation is expected.
