Mango Salsa for Fish, Poke & Sushi — Recipe and Video
A mango topping for seafood bowls
Sweet mango, lime and a little chili add a fresh topping to fish, Poké bowls and sushi rolls. This salsa is made separately; it is not included with a Poké product unless its package specifically says so.

Ingredients
- 1 large ripe but firm mango, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup finely diced red onion
- ½ jalapeño, finely chopped; remove seeds for less heat
- Juice of 1 lime, added to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- A pinch of salt
Method
- Wash the produce and use a clean cutting board. Dice mango into small, even pieces.
- Gently combine mango, onion, jalapeño and cilantro.
- Add some lime juice and a little salt. Taste and adjust; the amount needed depends on the fruit.
- Cover and refrigerate until serving. Stir gently and add any diced avocado shortly before use.
Ways to serve it
Spoon a little onto a bowl made with Atlantic Salmon Poké or Wasabi Ahi Tuna Poké, following the fish’s preparation instructions. If the fish is already seasoned, taste before adding more dressing. Diced cucumber adds crunch; avocado makes the topping softer.
It also works alongside cooked fish from our Fish collection. Lime juice in salsa does not make raw fish safe to eat.
