Nice and sweet

Excellent snow crab—sweet, clean flavor and tender meat. The legs were well-packed, arrived in good condition, and were easy to prepare. Perfect for a simple dinner or a special occasion without overcomplicating the meal. Quality product, accurately described, and worth ordering again.

Not the best.

I purchased 20lbs for a surf and turf Christmas dinner for 10 (warmed 15lbs). I found this order to be quite dry, stringy, and small, most clusters had legs missing and or broken. Ive prepared and eaten crab for decades and this batch had that "almost aged out" taste they get after a while. I understand the crabbing industry has gone through its trials the past few years so maybe thats just what we get currently, but I was unimpressed with the product this time around. That said, we did eat it and dinner went ok, but no one was raving about the crab by any means.
Delivery was impressively quick.

Your previous purchase in 2021 was Russian snow crab. Due to ongoing trade restrictions, Russian-origin snow crab and king crab are no longer available to us. As a result, today’s snow crab comes from alternative fisheries and may differ in appearance and size from what was available several years ago.
