These shrimp are delicious! Love them sauteed with garlic and onion in butter oil☆ i also slice them when frozen and add to bisque or cioppino.. a wonderful , nutritious meal
I have these sent to my mother who loves them. She cuts the upper shell lengthwise leaving the tail intact, and lifts the meat (still connected at the tail) laying it on top of the shell, like lobster. She bakes or broils it and says it makes a wonderful, sweet broth
Delicious prawns, the best fresh taste!
These shrimp are a nice size. The flavor is fantastic.
The shrimp are fine but the packaging leaves something to be desired. I only eat 5 or 6 shrimp at a time but the way these shrimp are frozen you need to partially unfreeze to get the shrimp out and then refreeze the rest...there must be a better way.

Spot Prawns from Canada
Spot prawns (Pandalus platyceros) are little sea creatures that have a delicate texture and amazingly sweet taste that many liken to a combination of the best lobster and fresh-churned butter. They are often closely associated with Santa Barbara, where they are harvested in limited amounts every summer. Some people, especially Californians, reflexively call spot prawns "Santa Barbara spot prawns." By the same token, many people in Alaska refer to them as Alaskan spot prawns. And they are all right because spot prawns grow and are harvested in much of the coastal North Pacific Ocean, from San Diego all the way up to Alaska. The bulk of the commercial fishery for spot prawns, however, is actually in British Columbia.
