Shopping Online for Fresh Halibut

Our fresh halibut for sale is so fresh that you'll smell the ocean (in a good way) when you open your box. The only way you can get fresher Pacific halibut is if you caught it yourself. But you don't have to catch your own fresh fish anymore! Our fishers catch, we process, and you eat delicious seafood all in less time than you can plan a meal and go grocery shopping yourself.

What is Halibut?

Halibut is a delicious white fish with a mild flavor and thicker texture than other types of white fish.

Halibut is one of the largest fish in the world. Halibut is a flat bottom fish that can grow to be upwards of 500lbs! Halibut lives off of the west coast of the United States and is found along the floor of the Pacific Ocean.

Many people considered halibut one of the most delicious fish found in our world's oceans. We love halibut for its delicate flavor, thick fillets, and large soft flakes. If you haven't had fresh halibut before, we know you're going to love this fish.

How does Halibut Fish Taste?

Halibut has a mild flavor with slightly sweet, slightly nutty undertones. Our 100% wild-caught fresh halibut flavor will have the freshest taste and freshest texture than any other fish you've ever tried. You can't even get fish this fresh from a fish market.

Halibut Nutrition:

Next to being one of the tastiest fish in the seas, halibut is also extremely healthy. Halibut is filled with micronutrients, including selenium which helps your body fight cancer and protects your heart. Halibut contains niacin, phosphorus, magnesium, and other nutrients that help you maintain a solid and healthy body.

Eating one half fillet of wild caught Alaskan halibut will give your body more than 1/3 of its daily requirements of several vitamins and minerals. You can put down the bottle of vitamins and instead start eating more seafood!

Protein in Halibut:

Halibut is a healthy source of protein, with 42 grams of protein per serving. Halibut is a complete protein, providing your body with all of the essential amino acids you need.

Adding halibut to your weekly meal plans along with more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains will help you achieve a more balanced diet. A more balanced diet that isn't bland or boring.

Feel free to enjoy as much fresh halibut as your family wants. Despite being a larger ocean fish, halibut has a relatively low mercury risk.

How much Fresh Halibut will you get?

Your order of fresh halibut will come with 24 total oz of halibut fillets. Our fillet sizes range from 7-9 oz portions. You can expect to receive anywhere from 2-4 fresh skin on halibut fillets. Each of our fillets is enough to feed two people. Your order from fresh halibut fillets will feed about 4-8 people! So, invite your friends and family over for a gourmet seafood dinner (it's easier than you might think!).

Our fresh halibut prices will be the most competitive possible. We've worked diligently to bring you fresh off the boat fish without increasing our costs more than we need to make fresh fish possible, no matter where you live.

Our fresh halibut price per pound might be a little higher than what you can get in the freezer section of your local big box store, but what you are getting for the price is unbeatable freshness, flavor, and nutrition in our wild caught fresh halibut fillets.

You can't get this kind of freshness anywhere. Did you know that the fresh fish you are looking at in the seafood market can be up to or even over a week old? Our fish is never more than a day out of the ocean.

We guarantee that the fish arriving at your door was still swimming in the hour 24-hours before you receive it.

How to Cook Fresh Halibut Fillets:

That gourmet seafood meal we mentioned earlier is easier than you might realize. Halibut is one of the easiest fish to cook, and you can cook it using virtually any cooking method you'd like!

Our skin on fresh fillets cook up using almost any cooking method. Leaving the skin on keeps our halibut fillets fresh and gives you the option of using some higher heat cooking methods like grilling or pan searing. The skin protects the delicate flakes from the harsh heat while allowing the fillets to cook to perfection.

Halibut steaks are thick, firm, and don't dry out easily, especially when cooked with the skin.
